When using Evergreen timers to sell a course, you do not want your existing, enrolled students to see the “Flash Sale” countdown if they revisit the page.
To create a flawless funnel, you should combine the ELC Countdown block with LearnDash’s native visibility blocks.
Step-by-Step Guide #
- Open your sales page in the WordPress editor.
- Add a native LearnDash Visitor Block (or use the
[visitor]shortcode). - Configure the Visitor Block to target the specific course you are selling.
- Place your ELC Countdown block inside the Visitor Block.
- Add a LearnDash Student Block just below it.
- Place a “Go to Course” button inside the Student Block.
The Result: Logged-out prospects will see the ticking Evergreen timer creating FOMO, while existing students will simply see a friendly button directing them to their content!
Admin Testing Tip: Because you are logged in as an administrator, the Visitor block might hide the timer from you while editing! To accurately test your Evergreen sales page, always copy the URL and open it in a “Private” or “Incognito” browser window to see it exactly as a prospect would.
